Porter Consulting Group Pty Ltd is proud to be a privately owned Australian company which commenced operations in February 2003.
Porter Consulting Group was launched by our Managing Director, Kristy Porter (nee Kelly), initially as a recruitment business, but quickly became a larger than life dream to do much more. It became apparent that some businesses, especially small and medium sized (SMEs), lacked sufficient knowledge in human resources to not only ensure they retained the very best talent in their organisation, but to also minimise their risk to endless employee claims and law suits. Kristy then set about developing the human resources division at Porter Consulting Group to provide clients with a holistic approach to their human resources needs - from the initial recruitment stage, through to engagement and then retention.
Kristy designed the HR services division at Porter Consulting Group to allow her SME clients to afford some of the "best practice" methodologies and systems which many larger businesses have dedicated HR teams to provide. Porter Consulting Group's HR services are simplified and designed to suit smaller sized businesses, thereby ensuring good employment practices can be easily established and afforded by SMEs.
Kristy also dedicates her time to further developing the recruitment arm of the business ensuring that only the best specialists are employed and trained by Porter Consulting Group to carry out its recruitment services. The growth and further development of both its recruitment and human resources services continue today.
With the support of her team, Kristy strives hard to differentiate Porter Consulting Group from others and she maintains a hands-on role in the business. She works with a select portfolio of local and national clients undertaking both recruitment and human resources services. She is focused on developing Porter Consulting Group as not only an employer of choice in its own right, but as a business that provides good old fashioned service, unique service offerings and tailored solutions, with an enviable team of dedicated and passionate consultants.
