Paul has twelve years experience in Australia, USA, UK and the Netherlands as an IBM Systems Programmer in large IBM mainframe environments. More recently, he has spent the past fifteen years in Perth as a Recruitment Consultant, Business Development Manager and Manager of a leading ICT contracting and permanent consulting business specialising in servicing tier 1, government and boutique clients. Here, Paul successfully built the business from 12 to 120 contractors.
Paul's many career highlights include being selected as one of 15 from a company of over 500 staff to participate in a management buyout in 2004 of a leading national ICT services business which was ranked in the top 3 in both IT and Engineering recruitment in the Perth market. Other achievements include securing and servicing various Preferred Supplier Agreements with major clients including Western Power, AlintaGas, Computer Sciences Corporation, IBM Global Services Australia and the whole of WA Government to name a few. These agreements resulted in a substantial increase in revenue and long-term contracts for the business.
Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and recruitment experience to his current role with Porter Consulting Group where he is responsible for further developing and managing the Banking and Finance division. Paul has an absolute commitment to understanding his clients business, their specific job related requirements and to energetically sourcing the best candidate available for the longer-term benefit of all clients.
