Poppie has vast experience working in professional services in the UK and Australia in large top tier international and national firms. Her experience covers both HR Generalist and Graduate Recruitment roles.
She has worked for various sized companies up to 1200 staff which has provided her with an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of SME’s to large multinational firms.
As a Consultant in Porter’s HR Division, Poppie is responsible for assessing clients’ HR requirements and tailoring and developing HR foundations to enable them to meet their strategic direction by aligning the HR foundation and its people to their business goals.
Poppie works closely with her clients to understand their culture and the challenges they face. Her methodology includes a consultative and advisory approach where clients are supported when implementing new HR foundations. Poppie focuses on delivering an HR system which gains buy-in from all employees – from senior management to administration staff - to ensure best practice systems and tools are used.
As a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, Poppie undertakes continuous professional development by attending seminars, courses and forums to keep abreast of local and international HR practices and is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources).
