Kristy Porter is the Managing Director of Porter Consulting Group which services a select portfolio of clients to attract, recruit and retain talented employees. Established in 2003, Porter's specialise in the recruitment of staff for the legal, finance & ICT industries focusing on long-term client and candidate partnerships. Its unique outsourced HR division advises and supports SMEs to develop and implement best practice HR systems and solutions.
With more than 13 years professional experience in the legal and professional services sector, she now employs eleven staff and services clients throughout Australia on attraction, recruitment and retention initiatives. Kristy adopts an innovative and modern style of management to encourage success through her team members who demonstrate the company values and philosophy.
Passionate about educating the wider market, Kristy regularly contributes her time as a keynote speaker at various industry events including the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), the Australian Computer Society (ACS) and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) amongst many others. Kristy currently convenes the AHRI Specialist Area forum for Attraction, Recruitment and Retention in Western Australia and is focused on ensuring relevant topics of interest to members are regularly showcased through these interactive forums.
Having completed the first year of an Executive MBA program with Swinburne University, Kristy continues her professional development through active industry memberships and by engaging with business consultants and advisors to continue to expand Porter Consulting Group's service offerings at a strategic level.
