Approach

We understand the greatest causes of staff turnover are environmental incompatibility and unclear expectations. We focus on understanding our clients’ succession strategies, human capital plans, position requirements, KPI’s, culture, values and behavioural expectations before we start looking for the right people.

By asking the right questions and listening to our clients we make sure that we are 100% clear on their needs and environment.

The handling of confidential, personal and sensitive information is an important part of our work and we adhere strictly to The National Privacy Principles established by the Privacy Act 1988.

Principles

We work to a set of principles that separate us from the general recruitment market – these include:

  • We are selective in terms of who we work with - clients need to represent the type of workplace we are comfortable promoting and must have or want adequate succession and human capital plans in place (we can assist in these areas through our parent company, Checkside)

  • Our preference is to manage recruitment projects ‘end-to-end’ for clients and provide advice at every stage – from needs analysis to search and screening strategies, candidate selection, placement and review

  • Our view is that clients pay us for our expertise and ability to save them time and headaches - not to “throw” candidates at them hoping they will stick

  • We always avoid conflicts of interests and never approach candidates from our own clients

  • We run a referral based business - our work comes to us through clients, consultants, candidates and like-minded individuals who like what we do

Overriding everything is the principle of respect - we deal with clients who respect the expertise we bring to the table and we show them and candidates the utmost respect in return. Quality always overrides quantity.
